I’m currently on iOS 26.0 (23A5326a). I have standby activated at night time supposedly showing a clock on the left and calendar on the right. But then the clock gets replaced by a random photo from my library. If I switch it back to clock, shortly afterwards it reverts to a photo again. This is a breach of privacy but I can’t find a way to prevent this other than disabling standby. Any suggestions?

I don't know where Smart Rotate is set, it's not under Standy.

After days of searching I found a reference to using a long press on the clock, which gave me the option to remove the clock 'widgit'. This may solve the problem, but what a faff. Why not a simple option under standby?

Not a beta issue. This is the way it’s worked since standby first came about in IOS 17. Long press has always been there to add/delete widgets and other settings for the display. Although it does appear that the last beta may have turned the option back on as default necessitating that it be turned off again.

Sorry, meant to attach a picture. Setting is the widget selection mode

Turned off photos. Worked for a while, then photos started again. When I long press there's no option to remove, just one to add.
