standby problem with MBP

when my mbp shuts down to standby from a complete battery drain and I plug it into a power source instantly, my MBP won't start up for about 20mins of charging. It used to start up instantly. Does anyone know why I'm getting this problem??

Are you definitely using the right charger?

What you described happens when I use my lower wattage macbook charger (60W?) vs the more powerful ones for the macbook pros (85W?).
