Staples is offering the iPad Air 2 64 gb for 509 dollars. Would this be worth buying, you think? My parents are in the states until late November. So my question is wether they act on the staples sale or if you guys think there would be an even better offer later in October or November?
The staples sale ends October 18... My parents leave for home, Denmark, November 26.

Hope someone can advise me on this.

You need to check the warrantee issues for Apple purchases made in the US and used in a different country of origin.

$90 off the 64GB is pretty good. Last month, Staples had them for $150 off. There will probably be a better sale on Nov 27 (Black Friday). Expect that sale to be $100 off or $150 Gift Card when buying the Air 2 at regular price.

Definitely consider what @jaybar posted!

I know that can be an issue, but it will not be the first apple device I buy in the U.S. And take to Denmark. The huge price difference compared to buying it in Denmark makes it worth the risk in my opinion.

I believe Apple warranty is international as long as Apple sells product in that country.

The warrantee might be, but If it it purchased with Apple Care plus, then I don't think Apple Care will be honored.

Sometimes Best Buy has $100 off and then if you get a movers coupon from eBay or other places, you could get an additional 10 percent off after the $100 off.

However, I would also caution about buying in another country. Apple products seem to have a decent rate of technical issue or even physical flaw out of the box. I would hate for them to get the iPad all the way back to your home, and then you be unhappy with it.

I think all that coupon stuff from eBay is too complicated for my parents. I think I going to ask them to buy the Staples offer.
I know that you can be unlucky and get a flawed iPad. But my current iPad, original mini, has been just perfect until now (getting too slow for me though) and was also bought in USA. I also bought an Apple Watch in August in Boston..
Thinking about getting my parents to buy the new Apple TV if that comes out while they are in the US too..
