After seeing the movie, I am also not impressed with the music. It's like Williams wants to call back the familiar themes without being too overt about it, but instead it sounds like the familiar stuff but different where it sounds weak. That being said, I am going to get the album so that I can study the music in depth...

Every aspect in this film was a disappointment, but the one that really hurt to witness was the music. :(

My question is, after the prequel trilogy, where were your expectations that EVERY aspect of that film was a disappointment? I mean, even if it failed on every other point, there wasn't a single scene that took place inside of a political assemblage. Not even one. That alone was a huge relief.
