I always wanted to get an aluminum bumper because I like the way they look and feel. But the thing that always kept me away was the full exposed back. But I just recently switched to this new aluminum bumper Infinite Case by Rock that has a hard acrylic back which is what I've been looking for. I had no idea this was even possible since most aluminum bumper cases snap on at a corner. The things I like about this case are: feels very solid, back is fully protected, buttons click are very responsive and feels just like original buttons, the microfiber lining on the inside of the bumper gives it a very snug and tight fit, and the color matches very well with the phone. Overall a very premium feel and look. Some things I do not like about the case are: installing is tricky and takes some time and care to learn the technique. It is not a case I can use to swap out often because of the care it takes to remove and install. It makes the phone a bit more heavier because of the aluminum. Also the mute switch is hard to access. But overlooking the cons it is definitely a worthy case for it's design.

Wow, this looks like it may be the perfect case for me, exactly what I was looking for in terms of design - sleek and looks close to the original design of the iPhone. Could you point me to an international eBay seller which sells this product? Thanks

I'm dying to see a Speck Candyshell Grip for the iPhone 6 plus... especially if it's a Space Grey version. I am planning on grabbing the White case when it finally becomes available.

Custom Case Mate ;)

Sorry pal, I don't know of any international sellers yet. I will let you know soon as I find out.

Funny you should mention that, I just picked up a Rock Clear TPU case tonight for $11 in Hong Kong and the buttons are extremely stiff.
I'm a bit disappointed in the button stiffness. It's quite extreme and takes some hard middle-of-the-button pressing to put my phone to sleep.

I've moved off the Rock clear case, I'm in my Apple black leather case 24/7 now.

I'm with you on that. Midnight Blue for me. Tried the Rock out of curiosity. It's dirt cheap so no big risk. Pretty disappointed in it. Bad alignment & very cheap feeling TPU. I have an even cheaper no-name clear eBay TPU case that is actually much better but I'm just over the whole clear case thing.

Just got my iphone 6 plus today. Paid $1050 on Swappa. Verizon 128gb space gray. Came with SP installed and 3 cases. This is the Ringke Fusion I purchased myself.

i'm with ya, i can get over the cutouts not being 100% perfect, but the power button is a bit ridiculous.

Anyone know of any other thin cases that are thick enough to give camera lens protection along with bottom protection?

zoogue

I don't know if anyone's posted a zoogue case yet, but I just got mine yesterday.

edit: adding impressions (after 1 day's use)
-soft TPU, feels good in the hands, the ridges along the side help with grip, not sure how much protection it will provide.
-clean, simple, unassuming design, other than the large zoogue emblem on the back.
-the buttons are a little hard to press, preferred the open ports of my previous case. mute button is easily accessible. headphone jack might be a little small for bigger connectors.
-not a very tight fit, makes for easy install and removing from case for cleaning but I can see it becoming looser as time goes on.
-has a sufficient lip that will prevent the screen from touching surface when face flat.
