I added Moom and BetterTouchTools to start up on login in their respective preference panes and I also added them to startup list in the accounts page but they still do not start up on login. Any other things I can do?

Open them up and click their icon on the menubar at the top. Select "Preferences" and browse around for a checkbox that says something like "start at login"

Actually, let me make myself less vague. I personally don't use Moom so you'll have to follow my vague instructions above but for BTT click preferences, Basic/General Settings and check "Launch BetterTouchTool at startup"

I've already tried that. Its stated in the original post that I've tried enabling start up at login via each app's preferences and using the startup items in accounts.
