Does anyone know of a program that, when I turn on my computer (imac) it will give me the option of selecting mac os or windows instead of it booting into the last os used.

You can hold down the Option/Alt key right after the startup sound to select which OS to boot into.
There is also rEFIt, a small EFI bootloader, which will give you also an OS selection screen.
