Hi,
I'm new to Mac... I have a mini Mac and a G4 powerbook... do you know if it is possible to have the dashboard open when you login? I know F12 does it but I'd like to know if one can put it in some sort of startup...

Thanks for your time,

Roy

I'm not current;y at a mac running tiger, but i think dashboard is an app in your applications folder,

if so open up you system prefs -> accounts -> Startup items

Click the + too add a startup item, choose dashboard, and in theory it should load up on startup, i'll have no way to testing this until tomorrow

Hope it works 😀

Thanks

You might also be interested in Dasher - a simple preference pane which activates Dashboard after a specified amount of idle system time.
