starting a webshop

I want to start a webshop and i am thinking about using Oscommerce but i am not sure if it is going well with a Mac. Has anyone used Oscommerce with a Mac or can somebody give me a good advice about what program to use? 🙂

OS Commerce works on any linux, php, mysql server. The development platform can be Mac OS, Linux, Solaris, or even Windows.
