Hello, I received a message that my startup disk was nearly full on my IMAC. I would like to move Parallels and another application to my larger internal drive and was wondering what the best way is to do this so everything is pointing to the new drive.

Moving the apps themselves probably won't save you a ton of space. For something like Parallels, the actual virtual machine images can be massive.

How big are those? You can just move those to another drive and launch them from there.

I sense that you're going to have to move more than your Parallels VMs.

How large are your collections of movies, music, and pictures ?
