My MacBook Pro doesn't play the startup "Dong" sound when I first startup the machine. Anyone know how I can enable it again? I've had the machine for a couple of months now and it was working fine. Thanks for the help.

Why would anyone want it off? That is the sound of greatness. That's why I want it back. :apple:

Do your speakers work otherwise? Any weird errors in system.log on boot up?
