iPhone 14 Pro Startup Sound not available?

Does the startup sound on your 14 Pro work? I‘m on iOS 16.1 Beta and when I turn it off, I can feel a subtle new haptic vibration compared to the 13 Pro. But no sound. I tried turning up the media volume, the ringer volume and the side switch is not on silent.

Is it 16.1 Beta or a bug? Couple of restarts didn‘t fix it.

So startup or power off sounds for me either and I’m also on Beta 16.1

That‘s weird. The option is turned on and I can hear all other system sounds.

Same, my partners iPhone 14 pro on 16.0.1 makes the sounds

Maybe it‘s fixes for me in the next beta, shouldn‘t take long until we can expect Beta 2.

The first time I restarted my 14 Pro, it scared me to death. Turned it off in settings immediately. Yikes.

With 16.2 update this sound is gone for me, without any deactivation in settings. I guess it's default state from 16.2, and it's better.
