Starwars movie playable on powerpc

    Well for those who say that powerpc computer can't play quality movies...

    Thanks but I would much rather watch the 480p h.264 rip I have of all 6 films. :)

    I hope this is more of a joke and that you're not basing all PowerPC systems video capability on how a G4 400MHz 7400 performs. I have almost 4TB of my 5TB total filled with video which ranges from 360p all the way up to 720p and all of it plays beautifully on my 1.8GHz 7448 G4 with the newest VLC build. At least half is h.264 and the rest is DivX or XviD.

    Of course it is a joke =) I love my powerpc, and even being a 400MHz one it does a lot for those MHz =)

    You mean that really horrible one from the late 70's? I have seen bits of it on YT and my eyes and ears almost bled. :)

    I was never able to watch star wars. I could never sit through the whole thing... I guess it's too nerdy for me hahaha

    I feel the same dude, I've tried and tried really hard to watch them... But they just don't do it for me :p
