I’m the proud new owner of my first Apple Watch and have a question (sorry is silly). It’s winter on the eastcoast and like everyone I get the odd static shock touching a door nob etc. so my question is can static shocks damage or harm the Watch? I assume Apple have taken this into consideration with some built in defense, but wanted to get some thoughts on this from someone who may actually know for sure. Thx!

Quite a bit of static electricity this time of year around here too. I haven't had any issues with the watch being harmed. I don't have any hard data to back this up, but I imagine it was thought of in the process.

Stainless steel Apple Watch user here. Never had this happen, but seems very possible.
