iPod Static Shock on Shuffle

I came home last night in the bitter cold wearing my iPod shuffle. When I got into the house and took off my jacket, I sent a static shock into the shuffle. It shut the shuffle off, and the shock went up the earbud cords and into my ear!

I shut it off and on again and it still worked, so whatever damage it did if any didn't fry it. It hurt a bit... just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else?

Glad your ears are OK. I just hope your shuffle is still usuable-I've never had a static shock issue with full-sized, 20gb 4th gen iPod.
