Stats on the desktop?

What's the easiest and most aesthetically pleasing way to put a computer's stats (temperature, processing, battery; iStat in other words) on the desktop?
I'm pretty sure I've seen screenshots of some app that makes these stats look like a part of the wallpaper, but I can't remember what it was...
