WOW... this post borders on petty racial stereotyping and bashing overweight folks. Source material really doesn't matter...

Called my local Wal Mart yesterday and they said the same thing, one 16gb black on launch day.

i think some of the stores who were told they would get iphones for launch day to sell are getting the shaft from apple because they sold most of them pre order and shipping more to the apple stores instead of stores such as walmart, radio shack, best buy.

i live across from a super walmart and can verify that this is a common sight there. i go there half the time just to get a laugh. you actually see people who didn't bother to change out of their pj's in the morning walking around the isles.

on easter walmart was selling a 3 foot tall chocolate easter bunny. so i think they target that demographic, lol

Walmart is famous for announcing a new high-profile product only to have it in very limited qtys., especially in their smaller stores.

They do this for the sole purpose of generating a high volume of customer traffic and hopefully increasing sales of their other non-iphone products. Typical for Walmart and a lot of other "big box" retailers.

As has been suggested - AVOID WALMART on 6/24.

believe this if you want. they tell you this and then tell their friends and family who want one to get there and pick i up.

i believe that to be 100 percent true, but i also believe if walmart could be shipped 1000 i phones they would love to sell them. I don't think walmart said send us 2 16gb iphones 4's to each store. I think they had an agreement with apple they would get what was available after the pre-order was over with. and since that was so successful walmart and other stores are getting a limited quantity of what was left or what apple felt they could give them and hold true to their agreement

Ok, let me clarify the uneducated part of my post. What I said came out wrong. By uneducated is that Walmart management does not train their associates on the ins and outs of activation, usage and troubleshooting. They are uneducted on the iPhone not in life. Sorry if that came out wrong.

Uneducted ehhhhhh? Irony is not your friend, sir.

Why would they send 1 iPhone? That seems to useless to be true.

You do realize he spelled it right the first time, right?

Seems like an EDUCATED person would get that one right every time, huh? Especially someone so attuned to the education levels of those people he's never met. Right?

So you're saying an educated person never screws up while typing? I'm glad we never got rid of the type writer then. Maybe Microsoft should just do away with the delete function in Word.

Let me type this slowly for you, because you seem to be missing a larger point: He misspelled a simple word in a post that he's using to denigrate the education level of others. Thus the reference to IRONY. Its ironic. Get it now?! Yeeeeeeeesh. I'm not judging his education level. I'm simply pointing out the fact that if you're going to judge someone else's intelligence, you should put yours on display.

"Type this slowly"? Wow.

Spelling it right the first time proves he knows how to spell it and has the proper level of intelligence/education. Misspelling the 2nd time proves he was typing rather quickly and missed a character. Leaving it that way proves he's lazy, like most of us are. It's not ironic, it's lazy.

A bee stung my bottom. Now my bottom's big.

He just showed a really funny picture. Nothing about it makes it racist any more than a picture with a chipmunk means I hate all chipmunks. It's sort of racist that every time you see a picture of a black person you automatically link it mentally to every black person in the world.

I felt sorry for her pants.
