Hi all, I am having issue with installing Steam onto my Mac. I am able to download the 1.5MB installation set up file from Steam. I can launch the set up file by dragging the Steam icon to my Application folder. When i click the Steam icon, it brings up a window to say that it is updating - an update that is about 39MB. During this (usually near the end of updating), a window pop up and said 'Steam needs to be online to update, please check your connect'. I am nearly 100% certain that it is not due to my internet connection, as i was on the net the entire time. Further, i have made 4 attempts to launch Steam and all failed with the same error message. I have had a look at this issue on google. Some suggested that the solution is to delete certain file within the Steam folder. However, my problem is that i don't actually have any content within the Steam file nor within the Application Support folder. Is there anyone who have had this issue as well? Thanks in advance.
