PSA: Steam Summer Sale going on now - check it out!

Already almost tricked into buying the Valve bundle at 75% off. I held tight, but I'll be checking in on the daily deals for something that really catches my eye.

What the heck is up with this monster clicking game? I'm not sure if I'm missing something. It looks like you just upgrade some items and then keep clicking until you're dead.

I played it for admittedly far too long. There didn't seem any way to die and it was just a click-spam fest. On the game page, if you scroll down, there's a handful of "achievements" that unlock extra games to go on sale and it also sounds like one special deal for another game? We'll see what happens later today.

I have 8 of the 9 achievements because I have rode the coat tails of my friends mainly. The game is pretty buggy, assuming because of the stress of so many people playing it. I also played it far too long, more than I'd care to admit. I just kept clicking while I was reading something on my laptop.

If New Order was for OS X at that price, I'd have it already. :)

I thought the achievements were based off worldwide stats. I think they were all unlocked in time.

My first purchase is probably going to be The Witcher 2 for $2.99. Never played the series, seen all the hype about 3, but (a) I'm not spending $53.99 on a game and (b) my laptop probably can't even run it. The Witcher 2 seems like a decent entry into the series at a crazy cheap price.

Ahh ok I could very well be wrong about h achievement.

I'm very proud of myself. I haven't bought anything yet!

I wound up purchasing The Evil Within today for $15. I'm a sucker for the horror games.

All of my friends that played Mordor REALLY liked it. I am going for the cheap games now since my backlog of games to play is still ridiculous.

I'lll keep an eye out for Outlast to drop severely in price.

I love horror games too

Clive Barker's Undying back in the day was creepy and fun.

ETA: Hmmmmm, Outlast is $6.79. Think that 65% off is as low as it will get?

I don't think you can go wrong with Outlast at that price. I'm only a few hours in though.

I also wound up picking up State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition for $9.

Gonna purchase Serious Sam 3 and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Maybe original Amnesia as well. Oh well. There goes my social life for the next month.

I also picked up Brothers for $1.99 and Borderlands (1) GOTY for I think $7.99.

I'm fairly picky about picking up games that are actual deals (65-90% off) and ones that I'll actually play. With lots of rain in our forecast, this summer sale is hitting at the perfect time.

Sorry, but yeah, yo' laptop can't run it...Witcher 3...as my MacPro with a Nvidia 660 can only barely run it.

FYI, GOG has the Witcher 2 also for 2.99, and the Witcher 1 for 1.49...and no DRM. I have to say, I've played the Witcher 1 in fits and starts, but the Witcher 3 has me hooked even more than the previous games...very close to Skyrim & Morrowind, in fact. It is very story driven.

I own the Witcher 1 and 2, however every time I tried to sit down to play it, I would go crazy over the control scheme. I just don't like it. Also the varying degrees of performance (even when I had it on a very powerful Windows rig) annoyed me. I'd go from easily locking in 60 fps to dropping to the teens for minutes on end.

My question: Is it worth sticking it through? It seems like the game is very engrossing, but I'm not one that's big on crafting, which seemed to be a big component (the alchemy). I see Witcher 3 has received rave reviews, but not sure how the first 2 compare.

Yep, my laptop can just get by on Witcher 2. I'm a Steam guy and as someone that only uses it on Windows, it's perfect for my needs.

The controls are a bit awkward. I'm not sure I'll get that into Witcher 2, but considering I put in a few hours for $2.99, I've more than got my money's worth.

I got Outlast and its DLC for $9!!
Uh, I got it for a little over 5 bucks during a flash deal. Remember, if it's not a daily or flash deal, wait for the last day!

I also picked up Brothers for $1.99 and Borderlands (1) GOTY for I think $7.99.
Brothers for $2 is crazy. It's a short game, but one of the best I've played in the last five years.

I think it was 90% off. Rave reviews, seemed like a must buy!
