A fingerprint scanner is more practically and useful..at least I think. If not please educate me cause I dont know really

The problem with Sony is they don't release phones very well. Like their exclusive releases with Verizon. Sony needs to do a wide releases across all majors markets.
Yeah, plus they kinda suck at marketing. Most people don't even know when a new Sony is out. And that's a shame because they make the best Android phones, IMO. The Z3 and Z3c were truly great, with no lag, nice specs and great battery life and build quality. Plus the Z3c is really pocketable. :)

The throw in some water/dust proofing and great battery life and a near stock like user experience. Great phones that hardly anyone (except us phone geeks) ever hear about. :)

I saw Xperia / Sony / PS4 are one of the main sponsors of the Uefa champions league this year. Htc is gone. Seems like all their advertising, Xperia at least, is in Europe.

I'm glad there are better and better smartphone cameras out there every year. This will force Apple to significantly update their cameras every year and not just on the "S" years.

Think about it. It's not just about practicality and usefulness. Microsoft wants to separate itself from the competition. Why have a race to beat Touch ID when it's incredibly difficult? You don't make profits as much by sticking to the standards, you have to go beyond the standard and disrupt the market. Microsoft can use the Iris Scanner to achieve a selfie camera function, secure phone unlocking, etc. The potential for it is quite astronomical. Technology is ever-changing.
