After using the watch over the weekend it looks like the watch updates the steps in Health Kit, but it does not update the phone itself. I have some apps that require XX steps per day and usually the phone tracks them as I have it on me most of the day. The last few days I have not, just the watch. Example right now is health kit shows 6698 steps, but when I load another app that rely's on the phone I get 1487 steps. Shouldn't the watch be updating the APs also? I know on NIKE it says that apple has not granted access to the sensors on the watch, but you would think it would still be able to access the steps through health kit. Is this apple trying to get everyone on board with their fitness/activity ap first?

I'm encountering similar issues. The whole fitness aspect of the watch feels underwhelming and a bit frustrating.
