I’m looking for a small Watch App that just can read steps from Health and show it as a complication. In the old days we had Marcher for that, but thats gone now.

I still fail to understand Apple and why they do no make this complication themselves.... Apple is just like women: They look GREAT and are highly desirable, but the price is high and simple things are decided without ANY sort of logic involved :)

I’m not interested in the larger App’s that tries to be full features activity trackers, that requires login and generally steals your data or is supported by advertising.

A simple complication app without complications :)

I am not focusing on your second paragraph. Stepwise, Pedometer+, Health Face, Health Dash

Why do you say Marcher is gone? As I recall you and I exchanged troubleshooting emails, but you were no longer able to test the app.

    What region are you in?

Very good point :) It turns out search on the Apple Store is a bit wonky. Even though I spell it exactly right, it still returns as number 15 or 20 in the list of results. The first 15 has nothing “marcher” related in their names, but does have part of the spelling (fx: march) in their description text. Seems Apple to is starting to show sponsored hits first :-(
I’m in the EMEA region (Eu -> Denmark).

I have just installed it again, and I hope it will update correctly as I had quite a bit of trouble with that on my AW2

Ah, ok, good news (at least that it's visible.) That's very odd that it is so low there, on the USA app store it is the first hit when searching by name.

I am investigating an issue I just noticed with the Infograph circular complication and updates, should be fixed soon. Thank you for trying it again!

Happy to - it’s exactly the simple solution I want :) i’ll be using the circular infograph complication, so I’ll let you know if I experience any update issues with it.

Checking these apps out, found that Healthdash will show up when using Series 0-3 faces but not when using a Series 4 face. Stepwise did work for me and looks good. Thanks. (It's in the bottom right on my Series 4)

The screenshots I shared are from my S4 44mm Apple Watch.
The Duffy app I was mentioning is a free app from the Apple App Store.

Not sure how this would apply to a fitbit

Well, seems like marcher still has the updating problem in my case. It stopped uodating yesterday and now just shows my steps up until that moment. I can no longer launch the app on my watch - it crashes when attempting...

    Any ideas?

An update is propagating out now and may be available already in some areas. Once you can see version 2.08, please try it out and let me know if it fixes the problem for you.
