iPod Stereo for iPod and Powerbook?

I'd like to have some external speakers to play my PowerBook music through, but I would also like to be able to plug my iPod into it so that I can move it around the house when I'm not connecting it to my PowerBook.

Can anyone give a recommendation for a iPod speaker accessory that would also have an external audio in plug?

Or, is what I am looking for the best way to go or not?

the altec lansing inmotion is an ipod speaker/dock that also has audio in. i assume others such as the jbl onstage and whatever the bose one is do as well.
