I was wondering how long Steve had known, and if there would be any final words included in the biography. Truly a sad day.

I figured when he resigned the end was near. He was never going to leave until he had to and it had finally gotten to that point.

There are reports saying that Issac did an interview with Steve about 4 weeks ago where Steve kind of knew that he wasn't going to get better. It's going to be in at the end of the book.

The release date has been pulled forward worldwide and apparently orders on Amazon for the hardback have gone up like 4000%.

looking forward to purchasing this. Should be a very entertaining book to read. His commencement speech he gave at Harvard was absolutely amazing.

True.

"Isaacson last interviewed Jobs four weeks ago, at which time Jobs knew that he would die soon. The final interview will be included as a scene at the end of the book."

Amazon UK says my preorder will be delivered on October 29. Is the UK release earlier than US?

No. I read a tweet that said the launch was brought up to October 24th. Not surprising. Also not surprising is that pre-orders jumped 53555%. I want to read it, but $17 for an ebook is way too expensive for me.
