4.6GB? No thanks, I'll watch them on YouTube.

yeah what the eff, they are just basically sitting there talking, you d think that with all the still frames they could optimize it to something better? How ironic that it's a tech site that actually does this...

Wow, I've watched nearly 3 of these so far.

Fascinating how simultaneously dead on the mark and way off he is on some things (eg right on tablets in the first one vs windows, wrong about cloud in the 2nd or 3rd), but that characterises him, he takes a chance. Also very insightful about the industry and charismatic. Well worth a watch folks!

The Q+A are my favorite parts.

And again, wow... i'm literally blown away.

I'm sorry guys but I'm going to have to implore you to download these. I've had to delete a lot of stuff to make room but they are worth it, utterly fascinating and not only if you're a techie. He just doesn't beat about the bush, just too many examples, listen to him talk about the "too onerous" terms and conditions for licensing wma with MS right in front of Gates in the audience (D3).

God I miss that guy.

Thanks WSJ -- more Steve talks.

I find that, from time to time, I'll put on a Keynote just to enjoy Steve's "company", so to speak. I have the tech that he's talking about and know all about it. Is just somehow comforting to hear Jobs introduce all the stuff that Apple did.

I miss him. More than I thought I would.

It's not just that he's knowledgable about tech, it's witnessing a template of how someone can carry themselves with such measure and clarity. Great man.

Did you meet the guy in person?
Were you even alive or an fan of Apple's work during those years when Apple wasn't the multi-billion dollar company it is now?

There's still plenty to learn from this man, and celebrating his contribution to the world through a series of interviews with him does not strike me in any way as not "letting him R.I.P."

Now please, move on, go elsewhere if you don't want to be a part of a discussion regarding Apple and its interests.

irmongoose

Do not feed the trolls.

I'd love to see him go around on MLK Day telling people to just get over it, move on, he's dead. We remember our heroes long after they're dead. Some people are just upset that their lives will never amount to anything worth remembering.

Too far dude.

huh?

I do that too sometimes, once every few months...

my reaction?

I like Kara Swisher. She's a journalist. She interrupts and asks questions. It's not bad manners. Is it possible that a male journalist doing the same things would not be deemed "annoying"? Just askin'.

But my overall feeling is still loss. I wish Steve was still around, and putting on the WWDC presentation now.

Hey, I'm a journalist too and it's great that she doesn't lap up everything these people say...but she's still kind of annoying.

Hmm, he seems quite tense and abrupt at D5, wonder if Walt riled him up with a comment.

Lol just came across his "it's like giving a glass of ice water to somebody in hell" comment (referring to iTunes for windows)! (D5, 47:20)

And why exactly would I be wanting to watch some dead guy talking about outdated technology ?
All the best Steve, you put up a very brave fight ... But you were just a salesman

I'm in favor of freedom of speech, but brace yourself for the downvote typhoon I suspect is coming.

Plus i think he wasn't dead during the interviews.

I'm sure there are a lot of male journalists who are very annoying.

A lot of people here, men and women alike, agree that Kara Swisher is annoying, so why do you bring gender into this? She's just annoying, it's not because she's a woman.

Also, i think it's great that All Things D added these videos! There's a lot of great content there. Thanks!

I absolutely loved the part where he in no small terms reminded people who the customers of music and video companies are. Not the distributors but the customers.

So many things he said in the interview sound so much like common sense now (how mobile ads ought to work etc), it seems so iniquitous how things are allowed to carry on working the way they are now.

these are really amazing to watch, years and years later. I know you hear it all the freaking time, but its this that makes me miss Steve. its crazy to hear all this and its only from 2003. How fast everything moves!

Simply put, these videos are awesome!

Get over this guy already.......

Irony much? You state "get over this guy", yet he envisioned the products you obviously care enough about to register on an Apple site.

Oh and i am sure this went over your head. This is what irony means....
