No he would not. Tim Cook became CEO while Steve was still alive, based on Steve’s recommendation to the board of directors. If Steve was alive today or at least had lived a few more years, Scott Forstall would be CEO of Apple.

**** you Tim. THIS is what you'll never be.
People said these things with Steve Jobs for many years while he was alive. Why would that be any different now? This is a speculation, though.
As we know, later can be decades late. Dell still ships laptops where when you open the lid, the bottom case isn't properly counter-weighted and goes along for the ride. Shameful."If I had never dropped in on that single calligraphy course in college, the Mac would have never had multiple typefaces or proportionally spaced fonts. And since Windows just copied the Mac, it's likely that no personal computer would have them."
He's either kidding or thinks lowly of others. Between the Mac's introduction in 1984 and this speech in 2005, it's very unlikely that no one else at Apple, Microsoft, or elsewhere would have thought about this centuries-old, basic concept from the printing world. It would definitely have been introduced sooner or later in computers.
"Stay hungry, stay foolish."
That's Dell, but not all companies do this. What Steve seemed to imply was that without him, no operating system would offer several fonts and/or proportional ones, as if all other people were too dumb to ever come up with this idea. I admire Steve, but he was a bit pretentious at times. As we know, later can be decades late. They are probably in the early to mid 40s now.Dang, that was 20 years ago. The kids there are now middle aged. Someone should track some of them down and interview them, to see if Jobs’ words of wisdom had any impact on their lives.

Was kind of wondering - did they just remaster and upscale the footage?1080p60 is the best we can do? 4K60HDR Remaster needed!
The current Apple is not following any of his speech notes. Maybe they need to rewatch and remind themselves.
You expected too much from a businessman.**** you Tim. THIS is what you'll never be.
The video has been uploaded to YouTube as 1080p60, but the footage doesn't look 1080p60 at all, more like 480i30 at best, which was regular TV fare then. I wouldn't even call this upscaling, much less remaster.1080p60 is the best we can do? 4K60HDR Remaster needed!

Don’t forget about Antennagate, which Steve never apologized for and made a bunch of excuses for. Obviously, Steve was a visionary and this company wouldn’t be where they are without him. But he made mistakes, just like most CEOs do.True... Under Cook there's been no: Apple HiFi, Apple iPod Sox, Lisa, Apple III, PowerMac G4 Cube, Pippin, Newton, Macintosh TV, 20th Anniversary Macintosh, and Round Mouse.

Do you not actually like Steve Jobs or the Apple resurrection that he guided?
You realize Tim Cook really liked him, correct?
It's weird how you seem to bag on Steve while cheer-leading Tim

No, I like Jobs a lot. And I know Cook liked him.
But when Cook is criticized for the direction he's taken Apple (always in a negative manner) and that he's always compared to Jobs, I have no problem being honest and reminding people about the products Jobs introduced that flopped.
Churchill and Henry V might disagree.Probably the best speech ever made.
Instead they been burning cash with: HomePod, Apple Vision Pro, Siri AI, Macbook Pro with scratches/dents in screen, iPhone and iPad Bendgate, Airpower...and Apple Car.True...
