When I talked to Woz for the first(and only) time on the phone I was so nervous I sounded like a babbling incoherent moron.

I'm afraid if I ever met Steve Jobs what would happen.

Can you say why you got to talk to him? What was it concerning?

I think I'd get along with him pretty well. We both think alike.

Me too from business and product design, to vision and future and health etc. I don't think I'd be nervous really. I am a people person and don't get intimidated by success etc. :)

Coldplay was an exceptional band.

FTFY.

The last album was rubbish. I blame Gwyneth Ono and Chris Martin's ego. Jobs met the band backstage to surprise Martin with a gift certificate for 10 singing lessons at the local studio.

Oh, you beat me to it!

My daughter, Performa 6400, is still waiting to meet Mr. Jobs.
Regrettably, the Performa 6400 was not fathered by Steve Jobs - I believe it was Gil Amelio, who had recently replaced Michael Spindler as CEO, who is the true custodian of this child.

ME: Hey Steve, you know how, I know, your gay?
STEVE: How?
ME: You like Coldplay.
STEVE: Wow, you are right.

haha.

For a split second I read this thread as "Steve jobs duets with coldplay". It's been a long day, and the beer doesn't help. Haha.

Being Jobs, I think it was a Garage Band Lesson certificate

coldplay - the most boring band on earth

Even worse drivel than U2 regurgitates...

To be fair, both Coldplay and U2 have reached a period of considerable stagnation of late. But both have achieved some fairly incredible highs, 'Joshua Tree' and 'A Rush of Blood to the Head' being the first to come to mind.

At the end of the day, regardless of who's tracks were used to promote keynotes, or which lead singer's head is the actual icon(?!?) for artists on the iphone, both Coldplay and U2 have moved me at various times since their inception.

Spindler was the father of my Performa 630 and that junk was the reason I deserted Apple back then.
