The 15" iMac has a long life yet, maybe.
If this MW is any example expect the 15" iMac to stick around, not only does the new PowerBook 12 have a reduce footprint - it's less money.
The iMac staying in the mix means that the day of killing the eMac is that much closer - when a 15" iMac price drops low enough they can decide whether or not to kill the eMac.
Bigger is not always better, when your pricing the product out of reach of the customers waiting for the price of your products to fall.
Those school contracts are important, they need products on the low-end - the G3 iMac is the product that fills the gap right now, the eMac in the future, and probably the 15" iMac later.
