Silly debate. And results of a poll wouldn't mean anything.

As others correctly pointed out, "Think Different" was an Apple slogan, or marketing term and not a Steve Jobs quote. Whether he signed off on it is irrelevant. This isn't an Apple coin, its a Steve Jobs coin.
If it is silly, then why are you still debating? Again, start a poll or as many polls as you'd like, in person or anywhere online, and you'll see the results of what people would rather see on this coin. You won't though, because you know I am right. Anyway, it's not worth arguing about any longer. Have a great day.

Perhaps this is a suitable moment to remember that Steve Jobs' biological father was a Syrian immigrant, mother was American, and his American adoptive parents were of German and Armenian descent. The US is a land of immigrants, a big melting pot and all the better for that.
They legally immigrated, as did my Iraqi parents.
So what? They can put anything on the coin they want to, and Think Different would be far better. Start a poll, and you'll see.
Thats not how trademarks work. Legally they would need Apples permission and pay for a license.

Well, "Make Something Wonderful" is a poor Jobs quote to use and since he signed off on the Think Different campaign, I would still prefer that. Besides, they can put whatever they want on the coin, quote or otherwise.
"Make something wonderful" is taken from Steve's 2005 Stanford commencement speech along with other quotable lines like "stay hungry, stay foolish". It's quite famous. You should watch it.

Image enlarged, looks a little more like pics I've seen of him at the beginning of Apple.

(I do like the Wisconsin Cray supercomputer coin better, but of course I'm biased.)

A coin that has Steve Jobs in a turtleneck, jeans, and sneakers, and is inscribed with the words "make something wonderful."

What is the "offensive and disgusting" part?
First, frankly, no one but Ives should have designed the coin, not that he would. It’s an ugly ass childlike engraving.
Second, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of better candidates to memorialize on American currency. Jobs barely qualifies for a stamp, let alone a coin.

At least that's fun and harmless 😀

Yeah the royal australian mint is kinda fun like that; they also make bluey coins that went into circulation

fun fact, despite becoming king in 2022, king charles didn't get put on the obverse of our coins until 2024.
We literally put vegemite on our coins before king charles

The only thing wrong with that sentence is King Charles got a coin in the first place

If I'm not mistaken, this is from his picture which was taken in his home where he didn't have any furniture. They should've used the original background, instead of replacing it with that weird nature shot.
