Did they? Would this administration have even bothered to ask? And if they did, and the family wanted changes, would they have just kept quiet because they wouldn’t want to be attacked on social media?
According to the Steve Jobs Archive, which championed the design with support from California governor Gavin Newsom, Jobs "felt a deep sense of connection to and gratitude for California's natural beauty."
The innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of Steve Jobs embodied the best of California, creating the future we all know today," said Newsom in a press release announcing the coin's circulation. "His tenacity and fearless pursuit of the California Dream made so many American dreams possible. May we all attempt to fill his shoes as we seek our own California Dreams."
You'll be ordering 25 at a time, because that's the minimum purchase - the other being a bag of 100. Of course, you will probably be able to pay significantly more on eBay (or some other similar-type site) for individual coins.Obviously the family approved the design. That was my immediate thought. Bizarre that the depiction barely resembles SJ 😔The Ellen Degeneres commemorative $1 coin goes on sale!
Each Mint has its own mint mark, but the coins are otherwise the same. So, are there any differences on the once made in Philadelphia and the ones from Denver, or are they minting identical coins?
You should Google the difference between P and D minted coins. The "strike" is technically the same (other than the mint location indicator), but there are differences that most collectors consider when purchasing coins. So, are there any differences on the once made in Philadelphia and the ones from Denver, or are they minting identical coins?
