Steve Jobs Using the iPhone already?

First of all they aren't ear buds, they're the new ultra-compact corded in-ear Apple Hi-Fi personal portable audiophile sound transcenders, capable of elevating your listening experience to new levels of euphoric bliss. But apparently there is some sort of pre-production issue, so while the $1400 price point isn't a problem, Steve has decided to cancel the project and its 4 years of R&D.

Maybe it's all the crack I smoked this morning, but I'm not seeing an iPhone anywhere in the photo. All I'm seeing is Steve-O listening to what is probably an iPod. If he was using one, I doubt he would leave it half hanging out of his front pocket.

Totally....nice catch MacBoobs. I would also find it hard to believe Steve is totally oblivious to his own high profile. I think he's a little smarter than to walk around with pre-launch products.

Um, what I can't believe is that people would doubt that Steve Jobs uses an iPhone.
All phones have this development phase called testing, it is where people internal to the company use prototypes of the phones as there main phone and see how they work. Ask anyone at Motorola or any phone company and they will confirm this. Anyway, with Steve's love of control and having his hand on everything, the idea that he would NOT be a tester is absolutely ridiculous. Also, since they had a working phone at the keynote it means they are at the stage where they can start testing it in this way.
Now whether or not that is a picture of Steve with an iPhone or not is still up for debate, but does it really matter?

If you look in the comments in that link, there's someone linking to an interview in which Steve Jobs says he's definitely going to start using the iPhone in public now that it's announced.
So I'm going to assume that 1) Steve Jobs gets outside once in a while and 2) he wasn't blatantly lying when he said he was excited to have announced it because now he could start using it in public.
With that assumption, it's highly probable people are going to see the iPhone with him. So while this could be doctored, it really doesn't have to be. It's completely possible this is real.

the red shirt gives it away...looks like someone simply photoshoped a pic of steve in there and then drew a set of ipod headphones on him
however when I was in the mac store and they were having issues with the purchase of my uncles mac mini, they were like i wish the red phone at the genius bar went straight to steve job's iphone and i was like he has an iphone? and they said yea probably by now

I'm with you. I love my Mac and my iPod but I'm in no way in awe with the CEO of Apple. Hell, I don't know if I am in awe with the CEO of my current employer and he's done way more than Steve has but in another industry. 🙂
Motorola, maybe?. I believed have seen using Motorola's equipments to the Apple staff people, when they talked, during the iPhone demo, in last Macworld. So, if these people use Motorola, why don't SJ?.
About the photo, asumming who appears there is SJ, really doesn't matter if he have an iPhone to use daily and if he really is doing that. BTW, that shouldn't be a surprise at all if is real, since he's an Apple CEO and like some people said before, he likes to have everything under control... and iPhone could be (must be, absolutely) perfectly one of these things.
