a cube?

seriously? I imagine steve (if he doesn't have a tibook/power mac G4) with a prototype that he's gonna unveil @ MWSF '03 or MWNY. You never know.

i doubt he uses a prototype. its not like apple has all of their future computers sitting ready to unveil, if a machine is still in the prototype stage it is because it has problems with it. i dont know if any of you have used apple prototypes before, but if you have you know what i am talking about. mostly they feel like peecees, like you are just fightig the computer the whole time.

i would imagine that sj doesnt use the latest and greatest. i mean with free access to any apple, why would you get excited about the latest powermac/powerbook if you didn't need the speed? im sure he updates every couple of years, just like everyone else. trys out prototypes from time to time, but doesn't use them as his 'work' computer.

Wouldn't be surprised if he has a QuickSilver G4. Yeah, prototypes are really something. The thing is, even if Steve has free access to any Mac, he probably would go with the Cube or maybe something that he's comfortable using (but he'd still have to check out the prototypes then tell Jonathan Ive to redesign it :p)

I just saw an interview with Woz. He has the same machine / display.

I'd say he has an updated Cube, I'm sure he could get his own special computer you know, he does kinda run the company.....
