Sticker on new battery

Hi everyone

I just got a new battery for my late 2008 macbook pro and I noticed it has a weird sticker on it.

Anyone have any idea what it is?

Not sure what the sticker implies, is it an apple original?

Yeah it is from Apple.
But I'm wondering if it means it's refurbished or something like that...

Highly doubt it will be refurbished. Is the battery performing well? Let others contribute.

I think this is the information regarding recycling of battery. Nothing that should really concern you. Leave it be. 🙂

Looks like recycling information. I'm sure at least some countries force you to put such information on batteries.

The symbol on the left is the battery's recycling code.

The symbol on the right I believe is to warn against puncturing the component, since it's a battery.
