I accidentally deleted the stickies application a while back. I tried to reinstall it but now whenever I try to open it a message comes up saying "You can't use this version of the application Stickies with this version of Mac*OS*X." How do I fix this?

I believe that a program called Pacifist is used to extract things from your OS disc, but I've never used it, only read about it. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, or confirm that's correct.

You could always try an "archive and install" of the entire OS and see if that will fly.

I did download Pacifist to reinstall it and that's when the error message showed up.
What's archive and install?
Is there a way to just update my stickies app so it works?
