sticking MagSafe to a surface

I want to stick the MagSafe puck to a surface. anyone tried it? what did you use to hold it down?

I found this on Amazon, it’s designed to help hold down the puck & expand the surface area the phone rests on. I ordered one, waiting for December delivery though to say how well it works.

I'm going low-tech and use velcro or double-sided tape.

For in the house, I've used 3M "Command Strips" temporarily. As these don't leave residue or damage surfaces. In my car, I use 3M "Dual Lock fasteners."

Both of these are kind like velcro, except that both sides are identical (not hook and loop) they snap together like legos.

Alternately, there are a number of products now like the Spigen Magfit or similar concepts available on Amazon.
