I have a Macbook Pro, works sweet up until yesterday. If I am on my desktop and use my touchpad to move the arrow across the page, it will 'pick up' and drag a box as if I have also clicked down on the clickpad. It highlights text I am reading/writing and also to access anything where I would usually click once, needs a double click.
I have tried cleaning around the touchpad with an edge of paper. I think the click must be activated someway without me touching it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

My track pad did the exact same thing, I brought it in and now its getting replaced. No questions asked.

Is it under warranty? If so, bring it in. If not, then it depends on your machine. The unibody MBPs have an adjustable screw underneath the battery that tweaks the sensitivity of the trackpad. It requires a T6 screwdriver. You'll want the special screwdriver to get underneath the battery.
