Sticky Spacebar Key

Just last night my spacebar key started sticking, I didn't spill anything. If I start hammering it with my thumb the sticking goes away, but goes back shortly after. It's getting on my nerves, the feel is really weird.

Is it possible to pop it off to see what's wrong and put it back on?

my friends does the same thing. i dont think the keys remove separately but i could be wrong. your best bet would be to google; how to remove keyboard from whatever macbook you have. and then inspect and clean everything
