Sticky touchpad button on MBP?

The lower left side of my button is sticking. I've tried running a piece of paper through the crack to see if there was anything in there, but no luck.

Any ideas?

Check the battery !

I had a similar problem two months ago. I traced the origin to a bloated battery putting pressure on the touchpad circuit. The battery has now been replaced by Apple free of charge and all is OK. I suggest to remove the battery and run the MBP of the charger
to see if the problem goes away.

I had the same problem and it goes away by removing the battery
