I've recently just made the switch from Hotmail to GMail, thus POP to IMAP. I've started using Mail.app and want to streamline stuff.
I get a gazillion Facebook emails so I created a Facebook folder and set up a rule for all mail from Facebook to go straight into it. However I don't get a red number for the unread Facebook emails on my Mail icon in the dock. Is there a way to still get notified of emails even if a rule moves them somewhere else other than the Inbox?
