seriously I just want to pull down control center use calculator app as a small little pop up window so I can do fast calculations how can apple not see this already seriously my ipad should have a native calculator app

Can you add a calculator app that has a widget and use it in a similar manner?

I wish more people and developers would call Apple out on this. It's embarrassing for it to be not to be on a device that is effectively a computer.

This is literally one of the things I wish the iPad had the most as I'm not willing to download a Calculator app.

+ Is there still no weather app then also?

While I totally agree there should be a stock app, why aren’t you willing to download an app? Seems to be a strange restriction to put on yourself.

There are apps that do just that. I am using one.

The OP has made a thread about this subject before and has been given remedy. He wasn’t happy with downloading a app.
OP has never made a thread of a calculator app. I simply replied to a thread wishing what I wrote on this thread.

I am quite happy with this App - Calculator - iPad Edition

Reminds me of my Samsung smart watch. How do you not include a stop watch function? I had to download one from the app store. Like that's one of the most basic functions a watch should come with.

Craig Federichi was directly asked this by Marques Brownlee recently. His response was a bit lame, basically just said if we did it we would want it to be a great app and not just use the one on the phone and make it bigger.

yep that is a lame answer - lol

Maybe they are allowing 3rd party apple developers to make some money? LOL - at least a better answer? - my guess is they just don't have any interest in segments like this that don't produce any revenues

they can always collect 30% off the app store for efforts like this
