I was about to place my order after finally deciding which watch/band I want, and "personal pickup" is "currently unavailable". Sigh. They're going to have the watch selling in the store before my estimated shipping, so what's the deal with not allowing in-store pickups? I have a job. I can't sit at home waiting for a delivery, so being able to stop by the Apple Store during lunch or after work to pick it up would be the best. Wondering if at this point it's worth it to just wait for the time I can walk into the store and buy it.

FedEx can hold for pickup at a FedEx/Kinkos.

UPS can hold for pickup at a UPS Store.

Both allow this to be done before the first attempted delivery.

I always do this. I just ask UPS to send it to the UPS Store down the street before the first delivery and then I can pick up the package at my convenience. You can even have UPS do this for all packages.

What's the over/under for how many months between the time Apple Watch is readily available to consumers and the preview announcement of Apple Watch 2? Hahaha. :apple::cool:
