Still waiting for an update to the Mac Pro!!

Hi all,


The title says it all.

Soon, I'll need to replace my aging (but reliable) Mac Mini. I'm hoping that the update (assuming that there is one) to the current Mac Pro will be substantial enough to provide 8+ years of future service.

id be willing to bet there won't be Nvidia graphics in a nNP until CUDA goes away. Strategically, I can't see Apple allowing a meta-platform that isn't an open standard, or owned by them to be available to developers.

As long as Nvidia delivers top performance on OpenCL, having CUDA is a bonus.
