Stolen ipad where was it?

Hi,

I wiped my ipad 1 after it was stolen and i could not locate it for couple of days. I know that now I can no longer track it but is there any way of finding out what its location was when it came online and wiped itself? please help!!!😡

Even IF Apple had that information they would not release it to you without a court order. They aren't in the law enforcement business.

No way to know where it was when it wiped itself. You would have had to simply leave Find my iPad running with the email option selected, then wiped it later.

If you had a passcode, there was no rush to wipe it as the encrypted contents are not available with a passcode lock in place.
