This is extremely annoying. Checking the tracking for a package purchased from newegg, shipped via UPS 3 day service, now shows MERCHANDISE IS MISSING. UPS WILL NOTIFY THE SENDER WITH ADDITIONAL DETAILS. / ALL MERCHANDISE MISSING, EMPTY CARTON WAS DISCARDED. UPS WILL NOTIFY THE SENDER WITH DETAILS OF THE DAMAGE[X] DAMAGE REPORTED / DAMAGE CLAIM UNDER INVESTIGATION[X] This seems to be discovered >100 miles from me, at the UPS depot, not anywhere near me. I've contacted Newegg. The Newegg agent said he had to file a claim. It'll be 1 or 2 days to review, going through the process can take more than 2 weeks. What is there to review? The carrier messed up. Why does it take up to 2 weeks to ship the replacement? Anyone has any experience with such a thing?
