Hi Guys.

Half the time I open a forum site, or any kind of site really.. i get up the top a notification to install an app for that site. be it the 'Google Search' app when on google or whatever.

Is there a way to stop these notifications?

If i wanted the app, i would have downloaded it through the App store prior, not open the site up using safari.

Thanks :)

Possibly by turning off JavaScript or perhaps using another browser (if not a jailbreak tweak of some sort). At least this isn't as bad as the issue with certain ads directly taking you to some app in the App Store simply when that ad might come up on some page as you are browsing in Safari.

Better than nothing though, and apparently they're working on a cellular variant...
I do the majority of my browsing over WiFi so am pretty much sorted with Weblock.
