Stop Apple sending usage/analytics on beta

Hi guys.

Running a beta, if you delete the profile - does that stop Apple from collecting the default beta analytics and usage data or will that continue regardless?

Good question. I’d think it’s based on your OS rather than the profile. If you’ve got the beta installed, it’ll send analytics. The profile itself just changes what software updates you see.

You need to disable the analytics options in Settings. As far as I know, installing/updating a beta version re-enable that setting. You can always choose to disable it later.
