Hi guys,

I've doing some research but I cant seem to get any answers so I am going to post it here.

Does anyone know how to stop auto listing of files on the desktop.
For example, when I drag a file to the desktop, Mac automatically moves the file into a list of ABC order.
I want to stop that since I lose track in some of my work.

Does anyone know how?

Right/secondary click on the Desktop. Change Sort By from Name to None.

(you can also use the menu Finder > View > Sort By. Or, Finder > View > View Options)

Wow... that was already selected so I thought this wasnt the right one...
And then I clicked it again it did it...
Thank you:)
