I have a different WiFi name and password for everyone in the house. The kids specifically have their WiFi turn off at 10 pm. However, despite forgetting the adult's WiFi SSID and password the devices manage to log back onto it. Now its not because the kids know the password and re-enter it as i've watched the devices simply connect them selves.

I think its as they devices are keychain sharing and therefore the iPad i have is which is connected to the adults WiFi is updating the kids iPad with the adult WiFi network details again.

If i turn off keychain sharing should this sort the WiFi password sharing issue?

What do you use that allows you this many different usernames and passwords? Mine only allows two I think.

But I can set hours per device using the MAC address from each device so that even though they know the password, their devices won’t log in after the appointed time.

Get a firewall or UTM type device. You can then build all the rules you want. Some access points/routers do have this functionality built in. I would investigate that.

Stop having multiple users in your household share the same Apple ID.

Use family sharing, that's what it's designed for.

This is a big security risk too; your kids will be able to log into websites and such with your credentials. Very bad.
