I was just on the internet on reputable sites, when there was a little computer notification popup that came up. It looked like the red stop sign one, but it disappeared quickly before I ever read it. Shortly, after that chrome froze up (I know! chrome is terrible).

Included is a picture of the red stop sign notification, in case you don't know what I'm talking about; I found it online, so the content of the message on the screenshot is not relevant to me.

Basically, should I be concerned? I don't know what the message even said.

Like I said, I didn't see the message long enough.. I was only asking if it was an issue in general.

Nah... don't worry about it. As long as you did not enter your password and allow anything to install, you are fine.

Nothing at all wrong with your question. Some people just like to come on here and make rude comments it seems.

I know if malware is on the XProtect list it will show this popup, but OP's looks different and I'm not sure how the popup looks in Chrome.
