A nice feature that could be very well used in OS X for more advanced users is Stop Swap.
This feature allows the user to prevent the OS from using any Swap memory. Of coarse one can enable swap usage if you want.
Why do I want/need this? Well, just recently, launching three apps consumed 2GB of my 4GB total. However, the problem laid in the fact that at that 2GB mark, OS X decided to use swap memory and ignore the other 2GB that were completely free.
This is a very bad memory handling on OS X's part. I must say I skimmed through MR and Google and haven't found something that does what I described. I really want to stop Swap usage. If I need more memory when I use up all 4GB, then I want have the choice of Swap or not. I'm fed up with OS X's idiotic swap usage.
